This Louis Vuitton ‘s wardrobe trunk, circa 1925’s, features monogram canvas, all brass hardware, and lozine trims. Famous and aristocratic provenance as it was originally owned by the “Dandy” Count Cyril Tolstoy (1893-1959), Russian aristocrat and direct descent of famous author, Leo Tolstoy. The trunk displays a crown on both sides along with the owner initials.Trunks from crowned-heads and other famous personalities from the 1900’s are some of the most collectable Louis Vuitton trunks.
Top of the line model. Full interior including drawers, and hangers. Very good condition considering age – Wears and marks, signs of use and travels. One of the most desirable format, great conversation piece, perfect size to be used as a coffee table, or even storage element.
