This authentic Louis Vuitton steamer trunk, circa 1889’s, is one of the first Damier (checkerboard canvas) ever made. Featuring crisp checkboard pattern, leather, iron brass and hardware. Excellent condition considering age – Wears and marks, signs of use and travels. A rare format and covering, increasingly hard to find in that condition. Perfect size to be used as coffee table or center piece.
