This authentic Louis Vuitton Flower Trunk (Malle Fleurs), circa 1925's, features a crisp stenciled monogram canvas, velvet, all brass hardware and leather trims with serial number.
This kind of miniature trunk was specifically crafted in the early 1900’s as a thank you gift for the most loyal customers.
Instead of sending floral bouquets, the Vuitton family felt it was more meaningful and relevant to send this very elegant miniature trunk. It features wood, velvet, leather stenciled monogram paper and brass hardware.
As those were more delicate than the actual traveling trunks, very few remain to this day, making this piece a very unique and rare collectable.
Some of them were later converted into watch or jewelry box as the it’s was more sustainable over time then keeping it as a flower container.
