This authentic Louis Vuitton “Jewelry & Flower” trunk, circa 1915’s, was specifically crafted in the early 1900’s as a thank you gift for the most loyal customers. For the most high end clients, this miniature trunk was also customized into a jewelry case. Instead of sending floral bouquets, the Vuitton family felt it was more meaningful and relevant to send this very elegant miniature trunk. This specific piece features a “A” as the name of the very first owner. It features wood, velvet, leather hand painted monogram paper and brass hardware. This specific piece includes original LV velvet trays and compartments with serial number 841214. As those were more delicate than the actual traveling trunks, very few remain to this day, making this piece a very unique and rare collectable. Good condition considering age – Wears and marks, signs of use and travels.
